Cameron Price Obituary, Death – Church Community Mourns Beloved Member
Cameron Price is being remembered with love and sadness following news of his passing late Thursday night, as members of his church community come together to honor his life and support his grieving wife, Deborah.
Price was described as a cherished member of the church whose friendship, fellowship and presence touched those around him. Following his death, the congregation has called on members to surround Deborah with prayers, compassion and support as she navigates the difficult days ahead.
A funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, August 29, at First Baptist Church of Edom. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. A reception is also planned after the service.
The church has encouraged members of the community to attend and help honor Price’s memory while offering comfort and support to his wife and loved ones.
Donations requested in Cameron Price’s memory
According to the family’s wishes, flowers should not be sent to the funeral service.
Instead, Deborah has asked those who wish to honor Cameron’s memory to consider making a donation to Mexico Missions. Contributions can be made through the donation link shared by First Baptist Church of Edom.
The church also reflected on Price’s death through a message of Christian hope, pointing to faith in Jesus Christ and the promise of eternal life.
The congregation quoted Philippians 1:21 from the New American Standard Bible: “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”
As family, friends and fellow church members gather Saturday, Cameron Price will be remembered for the place he held within the church community and the relationships he formed with those around him. The service will provide an opportunity to celebrate his life, support Deborah and remember him together.
